As the demand for comprehensive digital AgTech solutions has grown, the largest AgTech providers have sought to capitalize on the industry’s momentum, sparking an era of large-scale consolidation.
In September 2023, AGCO executed the most meaningful AgTech transaction in the digital segment to date acquiring Trimble Ag’s assets and technologies. The transaction is only the beginning of large-scale consolidations within digitally oriented AgTech companies.
